EducationI graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls SD with a BA in Government/International Affairs in 2015. I had a 3.85 GPA, 3.96 GPA for major, as well as being part of the National Honor Society for both Political Science and Philosophy. I also studied at the University of Cambridge in England, Vesalius College in Belgium, Madras College in India, University of Havana in Cuba, and Oslo University in Norway.
ExperienceI mentored two middle school students during during undergrad in a program similar to Big Brother-Big Sisters. I have also assisted in teaching English, Citizenship, and Computer Skills classes at the international institute of St. Louis. I received a 5 on the AP Comparative Politics Exam, as well as a perfect score on the Reading section of the ACT. I passed all three of the CLEP tests I took before entering college, the two Western Civs and American Politics. I was also one of 12 American students selected to become a Nobel Peace Scholar in 2014.
HobbiesI love to travel and learn about new cultures. During my time in College I was lucky to have the opportunity to study in India, England, Cuba, Belgium, Norway, and Washington DC. I am a lifelong learner and I am passionate about helping and teaching others. I am currently teaching myself Czech to prepare for moving there to teach English this September.
